Spirit Therapies is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in physical and mental therapy on horseback for all individuals with special needs including our Veteran/Military heroes. Spirit Therapies is accredited as a Premier Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center through NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, Inc.) The program is run entirely by volunteers with assistance from Spirit Therapies Board of Directors. Volunteers are the foundation of Spirit Therapies. All donations are used exclusively to run the therapeutic horse riding program. Rider sponsorships, horse adoption programs and fundraisers are the primary source of funding. Currently we are looking into specific grants to reach our goals. Without the support of the community Spirit Therapies could not offer it's services to those that need it the most. Spirit Therapies has a 3 Phase plan to grow and expand. The first phase will include adding a cover to the riding arena, expansion of the volunteer program and the acquisition of additional land to add a riding trail.
